Good Tasting Tour- Theo Chocolate

There is nothing like Theo Chocolate anywhere else in the United States. They are the only organic, fair trade, bean-to-bar chocolate factory and the neighborhood of Fremont in Seattle is its home. When friends come to town I love to send them on a factory tour where they can sample till their hearts delight.

On the tour you’ll learn about how cacao is grown, harvested, and produced and finally turned into chocolate.  The tour is educational and entertaining with the story of cacao, including the extraordinary transformation of the cacao fruit into what we know and love as chocolate and the social and environmental issues relating to cocoa and cocoa farmers.

Thier retail store is open 7 days a week. If you don’t want to go on the tour, their store has samples of all thier chocolate bars. In my opinion its the best tasting chocolate ever. When I’m in the neighborhood its hard to resist seeing what’s new to sample and buy.
